National Gastroitestinal Nursing Conference

I went to this conference at the end of January and as a dietitian found it so interesting and learnt so much.

Of particular note was

A presentation on medication adherence in inflammatory bowel disease --such a shame that patients stop taking medication and then their condition flares up!

Haemochromatosis--managing heredity iron overload

I had never really heard of this except in passing so probably lots of undiagnosed patients!


There will be another conference next year so worth looking out for
